Eyewitnesses from the arena reported that the British team Into the Breach in the match against FaZe Clan could observe several rounds from the broadcast due to a BLAST error.
The players were sitting in front of an incorrectly set plasma, where the live championship broadcast was played. Which, in theory, Into the Breach players could watch.
So far, none of the players or the organization has publicly stated this. BLAST is also silent. And what will happen next with the match has yet to be discovered.
As we can see in these two photos, the team was sitting in front of the plasma, proving their unfair play. But, there is a huge “BUT” because we don't know if there was a delay. And also, the plasma was so far away that people with 100% vision could hardly determine what kind of picture was on the plasma.
The captain of the FaZe Clan team, Finn karrigan Andersen, couldn't resist, and after seeing this news, he immediately wrote a tweet, which he deleted a minute later:
What? This is a stream without delay.
And also, the well-known English analyst Thorin wrote about this situation:
BLAST, f*ck. Deal with this shit. And this is all after IEM Rio 2022, where Brazilian fans spoiled everything.
Let us remind you that the teams played their match on the Inferno map, which ITB won with a score of 16:12. Maybe it was the "plasma factor" that decided the outcome of the match? Who knows.
BLAST.tv Paris Major 2023 takes place from May 8 to 21. The teams are fighting for a prize fund of $1.25 million. The tournament winner will also receive quotas for IEM Cologne 2023 and BLAST Premier: World Final 2023. You can follow the schedule and results of the major here.
