Def About Astralis: "A Small Restructuring With One or Two Replacements Has Been Asking For a Long Time"

CS: GO analyst Dmitry def Lemeshchuk shared his opinion on the current form of Astralis exclusively for Cover.gg. He also noted that he was not sure about the passage of the Danes to the RMR.

Passing the qualification with a bunch of bo1 matches is the most difficult task for any team in the current realities. So a lot depends on luck. With that in mind, I can't be sure any of the teams left by the fourth qualification will make it through. Including, I can't be sure about Astralis.
I believe that Astralis may be unstable due to their current roster style, where they can be very dependent on individual players. K0nfig often allows himself a lot, and if suddenly something doesn't work out for him, Astralis can be difficult. Also, by the end of the spring part of the season, I didn't see a well-established, high-quality teamplay on different maps. Why this is happening is hard to say. Maybe this is the difference in views on the game between gla1ve and trace with the team's new stars.

Another important factor is the individual instability of farlig. When he arrived, he added diversity and aggressiveness to the team, but I believe he could not play at a high-quality level for the tier-1 scene.

At the same time, it is worth noting that Astralis still continues to show excellent results at some top tournaments, so there is no talk of any disbanding. But a targeted restructuring with one or two replacements in the team suggests itself for a long time. If the guys have difficulty finding new players in Denmark, then if I were them, I would consider switching to an international squad.

Previously, Astralis had already been eliminated from three open qualifiers for the IEM Road to Rio for Europe. Therefore, the team from Denmark has one last chance to qualify for RMR — the fourth qualifier.
