The studio CD Projekt Red announced the release of Cyberpunk 2077 and the DLC Phantom Liberty on Apple's Mac devices. The game's release on this platform is scheduled for early 2025. This information was shared by the developers on the game's official website.

The edition Cyberpunk 2077: Ultimate Edition promises an advanced experience with support for modern visual effects, such as ray tracing, enhanced frame generation, and built-in spatial audio. This has been achieved thanks to a fully optimized version for use with Apple Silicon and Metal — the advanced graphics API from Apple.

These features will provide the most immersive and visually stunning gameplay, allowing Mac users to explore the dark world of Night City with a high level of graphical quality.

It is expected that Cyberpunk 2077: Ultimate Edition will be available in the Mac App Store, as well as on popular gaming platforms such as GOG.com, Steam, and the Epic Games Store. The release is planned for early next year for Macs with Apple Silicon, although CD Projekt Red has not yet announced the exact date and promises to reveal more details soon.
