Current MIBR fem RMN coach on the fall of FURIA fe and the rise of Fluxo Demons

FURIA fe, which has dominated in recent years, earning titles and three world runner-up finishes, now faces a threat from the evolution of B4 Demons and the supremacy of Fluxo Demons. This raises interest in how the power dynamics in the Brazilian women's CS scene have changed.

Former Panthers coach and current MIBR fe coach Ramon “RMN” Toledo, in an interview with Dust2 Brasil, analyzed the fall of his former team FURIA fe and the current state of the Brazilian women's scene. It's interesting to get his opinion on the reasons for the leadership change.

FURIA fe had a great year in 2023, winning four titles. However, even then, the Fluxo Demons team was already showing themselves to be a formidable opponent. Games between them were very competitive and often decided in difficult situations. Over time, Fluxo Demons grew stronger, allowing them to win in key moments. RMN considers Fluxo Demons to be the best team in Brazil due to their recent achievements and results.

RMN pays special attention to the individual play of Giovanna “yungher” Yungh and Nadjila “poppins” Sanchez, who have contributed significantly to the success of Fluxo Demons. Their influence on the game has made matches difficult for opponents, which has been a factor in the team's success.

The Brazilian women's CS scene started the year with success in the ESL Impact tournament, where FURIA fe reached three consecutive finals. However, the team has not been able to repeat this success at the recent World Championships. RMN attributes the dominance of European teams to the fact that the scene in Europe is more developed. There are more teams in Europe, more training opportunities and therefore a higher level of competition. This allows teams to train from 10am to 9pm, which helps the evolution of players and teams.

Concluding his thoughts, RMN notes that the success of Brazilian teams depends on the level of training and the number of teams. He emphasizes that many teams choose to train in Europe to raise their level. This is important to understand the reasons for the change of leadership and the evolution of teams in the Brazilian women's CS scene.
