CS2 update: new features and improvements to Vertigo and Mills maps
Valve continues to improve Counter-Strike 2, releasing another patch that contains important map fixes, UI innovations, and improvements to the overall stability of the game. Here are the main changes:
Map updates
Vertigo.
- Interaction with grenades: Fixed an issue where grenades were not interacting correctly with certain objects on the map, which could affect gameplay tactics.
- Shots through walls: One of the most notable exploits on Vertigo has now been fixed, so players will no longer be able to use this flaw to gain unfair advantages in matches.
Mills.
- Map update: Mills has been updated to the latest version from the community workshop. This means improved detail and fixing various bugs on the map.
- Localization of locations: Names of different locations on the map have been added, which will facilitate communication during the game and make strategy more convenient.

Bug fixes and gameplay improvements

- Major results: Fans of esports can now view the results of previous majors directly in the game in the “Majors” tab in the “Watch” menu. This will simplify the tracking of historical data and allow players to quickly view the highlights of previous tournaments.
