Valve continues to improve Counter-Strike 2, releasing another small update that brings important changes and fixes.
Map updates
- Mills and Pool Day have been updated to the latest versions from the Steam Workshop. This should improve the gameplay on these maps, particularly in terms of optimization and visuals.
Bug fixes
- Tagging effects: The developers have slightly delayed tagging effects to reduce the number of times players experience teleportation when taking damage. This change will allow for a smoother experience when attacking, although players will have a little more time to move at full speed when taking damage. The delay can be configured on servers using convar sv_predictable_damage_tag_ticks (default is 2).
- Bomb strap animation: fixed a bug that allowed players to enable the bomb strap animation outside the bomb site.
- Revolver: Fixed a bug that caused the revolver barrel to rotate by mistake when firing.
- Loading time: reduced the initial loading time of the Settings and Game menus, which will make access to these sections faster and more convenient.
Changes in the store
Copenhagen 2024 capsules, which were available for purchase for 153 days, have disappeared from the store.
This update, although small, demonstrates the developers' commitment to improving the game and solving problems that players face. The community is looking forward to further updates and improvements.
