During the night of December 8–9, Counter-Strike 2 received a new update consisting of only two lines, aimed at improving rendering performance. The patch note was published on the game’s Steam page.
Valve released another update for Counter-Strike 2 during the night of December 8–9, which did not bring anything new for players, as it only improved rendering. According to the company, the shadow for the view model was improved, and local client icon caching for the inventory was added. The update size is 27 MB.
This became the first update in the past two weeks for CS2. The previous updates were also small and did not add anything new except fixing existing bugs. Before this one, the latest update was released on November 20, where three issues were fixed and overall system stability was improved.
