NAVI eliminate FURIA from StarLadder Budapest Major 2025

NAVI defeated FURIA in the first round of the playoffs at StarLadder Budapest Major 2025 with a 2:1 victory (Mirage 13:5, Inferno 13:16, Train 13:2), knocking the Brazilian club out of the tournament and securing at least a fourth-place finish.

The best player of the match was Drin "makazze" Shaqiri, for whom this is a debut Major. He not only performed well in the playoff stage but completely dismantled FURIA, recording 50 kills with 43 deaths and averaging 93 ADR across three maps. It is worth noting that every NAVI player finished the match with a positive K/D, except for Aleksi "Aleksib" Virolainen.

The situation for FURIA was completely different — not a single player managed to end the series with a positive K/D, and the main star of the roster, Danil "molodoy" Golubenko, delivered the weakest performance on his team.

FURIA exited StarLadder Budapest Major 2025 on December 12 in 5th–8th place, taking home $45,000 in prize money from the total prize pool, while NAVI will face FaZe on December 13 for a spot in the grand final.
