Users would like to remove the effect that appears during the freeze time. The initiator of the appeal was a community member with the nickname xpacik19x on the Reddit platform.

Gamers actively supported xpacik19x's post, and within two days, the publication with the demand received over 6.6 thousand upvotes. CS2 fans emphasized that this effect negatively affects the appearance of many skins and, moreover, complicates the search for dropped weapons on some maps. One user even joked that the brightness is set so high that players are ready for flashbangs from their teammates.

According to Valve's statement, CS2 was supposed to be released in the summer of 2023. However, at the time of publication of this material, the shooter is still in closed beta testing.
