CS2 has overtaken CS:GO in terms of number of games played in the last 2 weeks

Today the analytical service csstats released the results of an investigation into how many matches are currently being played in CS2 and CS:GO!

As a result, the team came to the conclusion that in CS2 for the last 2 weeks were played 21% more games than in CS:GO! And here are the detailed statistics of the investigation see below.

Percentage of matches played in the last 2 weeks:

  1. CS2 - 58%
  2. CS:GO - 37%
  3. Partners- 5% 

Which suggests that players are already favoring CS2 more, even though ESL Pro League Season 18, which is taking place right now, is being played on CS:GO! And this is the second time Valve has hinted at September 27 as the date for CS2's public release.
