In Counter-Strike 2, Inferno was improved and matchmaking in "Casual" mode was returned

On the night of September 6, Valve released an update for Counter-Strike 2. With it, the developers improved the Inferno map, fixed a number of bugs, and restored matchmaking in the "Casual" mode.
Maps
- Ancient: the shape of the defense base on the mini-map was fixed.
- Overpass: spawn boxes were fixed to prevent the likelihood of model overlap after spawning.
- Inferno: numerous bug fixes and improvements.
Gameplay
- Matchmaking returned in "Casual" mode;
- fixed a bug where dropped weapons behaved as if they were being held;
- interpolation parameters were adjusted;
- lack of bullet tracers when hitting was fixed;
- picking up dropped weapons was simplified.
Sounds
- fixed a bug where music at the end of Deathmatch mode did not play.
Other
- various improvements and bug fixes in the interface of the "Premier" mode;
- post-processing effects during freeze times were adjusted;
- absence of player models in the first few seconds after team introduction was fixed;
- community servers running on Windows can now be displayed in the Steam server browser.
According to Valve's statement, the release of Counter-Strike 2 was scheduled for the summer of 2023. However, at the time of publication, the game is still in closed beta testing.
