Cloud9 has announced the addition of a stand-in player, Danill 'alpha' Demin, for their upcoming run in the Esports World Cup 2024 qualifiers. The 19-year-old formerly represented Sprout and Team Spirit Academy and steps in for Denis 'electronic' Sharipov, who recently transitioned to Virtus.pro.

Cloud9 is set to compete in the closed European qualifiers for the Esports World Cup 2024. The matches will be conducted online from April 19 to 20, with four teams vying for a single spot in the LAN event in Riyadh.
