Russian players of Cloud9 have lost their flags on the official website of the American club – this change did not affect Abay "Hobbit" Khasenov from Kazakhstan.

The organization has not commented on this decision, but as of spring 2023, flags were present for every team member. It should be noted that after Russia's invasion of Ukraine last year, under neutral symbolism, Denis "electroNic" Sharipov and Ilya "Perfecto" Zalutskiy began performing even before they left NAVI.

Most likely, the decision to remove the flags was not the initiative of the players, but primarily the organization. If sh1ro and Ax1le wanted to perform under neutral flags, they would also have requested Liquipedia to not display the Russian flag on their profiles, like electroNic and Perfecto. Recently, neutral flags on the portal were requested by Dmitriy "propleh" Senigov and Daniil "Porya" Poryadin.
