Global ranking and bomb inspection — new features and changes in CS2 found by players

Developers of Counter-Strike 2 have released an update for the shooter and posted a patch note on the official site, however, not all changes were mentioned. In this article, we have compiled new features and upcoming changes in CS2 found by game fans.

Global ranking and seasons

After the August 2 update, dataminers found mention of a global ranking in CS2 files. Valve is preparing other changes to the ranking system. Firstly, developers will introduce new ranks, and then all other innovations will appear. In addition, seasons will appear in the game. All these features will be available for Premier version owners.

• Leaderboards that can be sorted by seasons and regions.
• A map of your squad's winrate.
  
• Detailed statistics of each player in your team.
  
• Global winrate of each player.

The emotion functionality was removed from the game files

Training day

Also, in the CS2 files, preparations for introducing the "Training Day" mode were found. If you launch the game for the first time, you will first be offered to play several casual matches against players or bots.
