Can "Closer" Çelik is reportedly joining GIANTX in the LEC ahead of the 2025 season. In a report from Sheep Esports, the jungler was one of many options considered for the role, but the former LCS champion won out in that battle and will be the starting jungler for GIANTX.
Many had been wondering which jungler GIANTX would be landing on as they continue to round out their Legends squad ahead of the new season. Many were reportedly trialed before finally landing on Closer as their starter.

Another shot for Closer?
Although GIANTX is unlikely to compete for the LEC title next year, they are forming a roster that should be solid enough to give the good teams a run for their money. One of the main acquisitions of the GIANTX offseason according to Sheep Esports is the signing of the Fnatic bottom lane Oh "Noah" Hyeon-taek and Yoon "Jun" Se-jun. For Closer, this is another opportunity for him to prove he can once again play at the highest level domestically. Closer is a former LCS champion and has attended Worlds with 100 Thieves as the first seed for North America.
Closer then found his next team in the way of a struggling Karmine Corp. The former LCS champ struggled to make an impact on KC despite them moving up the ladder towards the middle of the pack for the Summer Split regular season. It'll be interesting to see if a fresh start for Closer can ignite that fire within.
