Hugo “chawzyyyyy” Günther recently left Johnny Speeds, and most interestingly, announced his intention to change roles on his next team. He plans to take on two roles at once: playing as both IGL and AWP. This move is interesting because it's not every day a player decides to take on two key roles in a team at the same time.
Back to the roots
In 2021, chawzyyyy has already tried his hand at being an AWP on Galaxy Racer and Savage teams. These experiments brought him success and the player felt confident in his abilities. Now, after a few years in different positions, he is ready to return to the sniper rifle again. But this time he also intends to become the leader of his team.

A new challenge and ambition
In a commentary for Dust2 Sweden chawzyyyy revealed that he feels ready for the role of captain. He has played with different IGLs during his career and has managed to form a clear idea of what a leader should be like. “I think I have good leadership qualities. The main thing is that I feel excitement in the IGL role and I am ready to take on the responsibility,” he said.
A glimpse into the future
Experts say that chawzyyyy has been a good player in the AWP role in Galaxy Racer and Savage. The question is whether he can replicate that success by taking on two roles at once on a new team. The future will tell if this ambitious move will live up to expectations and take him to new heights in cybersports.
