Danish sniper and captain Casper "cadiaN" Møller has left Heroic after four years with the organization. As it was stated in the announcement, the player and the organization parted ways by mutual agreement due to different visions of the team's future. Together with him, Heroic achieved their highest achievements in CS:GO.
On his Twitter account, Casper thanked the organization and partners for the time that not only changed his career but also his life. He also noted that now a new stage in his career begins, in which he is confident.
Heroic has been my home for the last 4 years. Those 4 years have not just been career defining, but life changing for me. Big trophies, multiple stints as world number 1, a few clutches here and there, plus many great friendships. Looking back I feel gratitude, pride and I’m leaving with a smile on my face. I want to thank the organization for putting their trust in me throughout my time here. Looking ahead, my time has come for new adventures, and I am feeling very confident about my future.
With Heroic, the Dane reached the playoffs of four majors in a row. In addition, under his leadership, the team won the BLAST Premier Spring Final 2023, BLAST Premier Fall Final 2022, Pinnacle Cup Championship, and ESL Pro League Season 13.
