CacaNito replaces jL in Apeks

The Apeks CS:GO roster has been bolstered by the addition of a second Macedonian player, Aleksandar "CacaNito" Kyulukoski, who replaced Lithuanian rifler Justinas "jL" Lekavicius, who joined NAVI. This information was announced in the official club press release.

22-year-old Aleksandar has become the youngest player in the lineup. Previously, he played for teams such as BLUEJAYS and Falcons, and also stood in for ATK, Endpoint, and Monte from March to June this year.

Apeks Roster:

Replacement not in their favor?

Comparing the statistics of jL, who joined NAVI, and newcomer CacaNito of Apeks, it is evident that Apeks will lose some firepower. This change, although not significant, will affect the team's chances in future major tournaments, where replicating their success, like finishing 3rd-4th at the BLAST.tv Paris Major 2023, will become more challenging.

The updated Apeks roster will make its debut at IEM Cologne 2023, which starts on July 26. In the upcoming championship, the team will begin its performance from the Play-In stage.
