A great coach has 3 main objectives, from a player perspective imo.
1. Social skills
2. Individual motivating players + a strong authority
3. Providing a Tactical identity and Anti strat.
From my experience, zonic's qualities are almost impossible to replace. I think no one in the space of CS provides all these aspects at the level he currently operates on.
Huge loss for an organization of Vitality size, letting a character of his importance go out on a free contract.
From older news it sounded like Vitality didn’t have a budget for him in 2024, which is a fair conclusion. I would assume the current wage bill in Vitality is pretty high with players like ZywOo, ApEX, Magisk, Spinx and Dupreeh on contracts.
But i’m sure Falcons will find success - Zonic is an extraordinary coach and he will most likely return with an extremely competitive roster for 2024
