bLitz: "We want to win fair and square"

During the grand final of the MESA Nomadic Masters Spring 2024 LAN tournament in Ulaanbaatar, which The MongolZ eventually won, an interesting situation occurred where the team captain of The MongolZ, bLitz, addressed the audience asking them not to assist with information.

During the break between the 3rd and 4th maps, bLitz came out to the audience with a microphone and asked them not to help with information, as the opponents had complained about it. His words were:

The opponent is raising an issue of crowd cheating. We would raise the same issue if we were competing abroad. Even if we can't hear you guys 100%, we can still hear you to some extent. So, things like 'Behind you' seem like unfair competition. We want to win fairly and squarely. So, please, restrain yourselves as much as possible. Overall, the tournament is going fantastically. So, we want you guys to look out for each other on this issue, and please, do not shout out information.

In the grand final of the tournament, The MongolZ defeated their opponents 3-1 on maps, receiving $50,000. The tournament was held at the Steppe hockey arena with a seating capacity of up to 3600 people. The number of spectators at the tournament was not reported. This tournament was the first in which the new lineup of The MongolZ won.

After a sensational run to the playoffs in ESL Pro League Season 19, they continued to impress, winning with local spectators. The next tournament for the lineup will be YaLLa Compass 2024, which will take place in Abu Dhabi from June 5 to 9, with a prize pool of $400,000.
