BLAST Open Spring 2025 — Second Most Watched Tournament in BLAST History

BLAST Open Spring 2025 became the second most-watched tournament in BLAST history. The grand final between Team Vitality and MOUZ attracted over 850,000 viewers, making it one of the most spectacular broadcasts in the history of Counter-Strike 2.

Grand Final Details

Vitality and MOUZ faced off again in the final, just two weeks after their match at ESL Pro League Season 21, and this showdown exceeded all expectations. Vitality started the grand final with a crushing 13-0 score on Inferno, but MOUZ managed to regroup and take the next two maps. However, on Nuke and Train, Vitality once again showed their championship character — winning twice 13-7 and securing their third consecutive tournament victory in 2025.

Record-Breaking Broadcast Numbers

BLAST Open Spring 2025 demonstrated incredible audience engagement. The total number of viewing hours was over 28,022,000, which is 9.2% more than the previous BLAST record-holder — Fall Final 2024 (25.6 million hours), and only 8.4% less than IEM Katowice 2025 (30.6 million hours), which was the largest tournament of the season.

Average viewers: 305,998. This is the best average online viewership for BLAST in the past four years, even higher than BLAST Premier Fall 2021 Finals (298,000). For comparison: ESL Pro League Season 21 had 312,741, and Katowice 2025 had 381,674.
