BLAST Announced BLAST Premier Spring Groups 2023: the Tournament Will Start On January 19

BLAST officially announced the first event of the 2023 season: BLAST Premier Spring Groups.

12 BLAST partner teams will take part in the tournament. Among them are NAVI, FaZe, G2, Heroic, NIP, Liquid, Astralis, Vitality, Complexity, Evil Geniuses, OG, and BIG.

Tournament Format

This year, BLAST has changed the group format a lot. First, let us remind you that earlier, the group stage was divided into three phases: groups, playoff bracket, and Last Chance Stage.

In 2023, only two of the three stages remain the groups and the playoff series. Now the winners of the three groups will immediately receive slots for the BLAST Premier Spring Final 2023. The remaining three places will be played in the playoff bracket.
