Recently, during the group stage of Valorant Champions 2023, Bilibili Gaming emerged victorious from a match against the American team NRG. After this, controversial statements from members of the Chinese team regarding their opponents appeared online.
The first incident began about a month ago, involving the captain of the Evil Geniuses team and his comments about China; more details can be found in our article. In brief, Boostio from EG expressed his views about the newly formed Chinese region in Valorant. He stated that Chinese teams lag behind other regions by 3 years and will never surpass North America.
After an easy victory over NRG, Bilibili Gaming's smoker, Knight, responded to Boostio's comments.

He said that if the doubts don't come from Boaster they don't matter and if EG has Boaster in Tokyo, they wouldn't have been runner-ups

He said that hearing these words from Boostio was not interesting because his opinion isn't authoritative. EG finished second at Master Tokyo. If Boaster from Fnatic had said this, Knight would have listened to his criticism. He added that if Boaster had been on EG, the team would have won the previous Masters, but unfortunately, the team only has Boostio.
All the doubts stem from who took the second place in the Tokyo tournament, from team EG. Thus, these doubts might have been relevant if not coming from Boostio, perhaps from Jake 'Boaster' Howlett. Or, maybe if Boaster had been in EG, they might not have been runners-up.
In response, Boostio replied to the Chinese player's comments, calling him a child he doesn't know and wished his team luck in advancing from the group.

I don't even know who this kid is, so the comments don't matter. Let's see if they advance from the group. Good luck.
The story doesn't end here for Bilibili Gaming players. After their victory over NRG, the Chinese team's duelist whz gave an interview in which he addressed recently defeated opponent ardiis. According to whz, his opponent had given an interview before the match, saying he didn't know who Bilibili Gaming's duelist was. After the match ended, the Chinese player asked ardiis if he now remembered who the duelist from Bilibili was.
I noted that in the interview before the game, NRG's duelist Ardiis said he didn't know who BLG's duelist was. Now that the match is over, I want to ask him, do you remember me now?

So far, the NRG member hasn't commented on the situation, but he is likely to leave the topic open-ended. It should be noted that Bilibili Gaming players tend to be quite aggressive even during tournament matches; recently, after getting 2 frags and winning a round, whz began shouting towards his opponents, asking if they were okay.
