Today, the German organization BIG revealed on its social media accounts the lineup of the team that will travel to IEM Cologne 2023.

Why is it interesting?
The slot for the Berlin International Gaming organization was originally won by their academic squad, who in turn won a tournament called ESL Meisterschaft: Spring 2023, which featured 12 teams from Germany.
By beating everyone and taking first place in the championship they guys earned $11,657.36 as well as a slot to IEM Cologne 2023 as well as ESL Meisterschaft 2023 Autumn.
According to ESL rules, a team that has qualified can make no more than two substitutions, making it simply impossible for the main roster to take the slot away from the minnows.

When is the tournament in Cologne?
IEM Cologne 2023 will take place from July 25 to August 6 in Germany. The teams will play for a million dollar prize pool and a slot at IEM Katowice 2024. The championship playoffs will be hosted by LANXESS arena. The event in Cologne may become the first major Counter-Strike 2 tournament.
