BIG begin the new season with a revamped roster. The German organization announced the transfer of Can "kyuubii" Ali from fnatic and Marcel "hyped" Köhn from the academy. They replace Rigon "rigoN" Gashi and Florian "syrsoN" Rische, who were benched.

Arrival of kyuubii

The return of kyuubii marks his comeback to active play after almost eight months on fnatic's bench. He joined Fnatic on November 27, 2023, where he struggled to perform well. His last tournament for Fnatic was the CCT Season 2 European Series #1, where the team finished in 5th-8th place.

Comeback of hyped

For hyped, this is his second stint in the main roster of BIG. He first played for the main roster in February 2023 but returned to the academy four months later when the organization signed mantuu in his place. After a successful run with ALTERNATE aTTaX, including qualifying for the IEM Cologne 2024 Play-In and the IESF World Championship, hyped once again has the opportunity to prove himself in BIG's main roster.

The new BIG lineup will debut at BLAST Bounty Season 1. The tournament starts on January 14 and runs until January 19 in an online format. Out of 32 participants, only 8 will advance to the LAN finals. You can follow the tournament in more detail through this link.
