ESL Pro League Season 14 continued with group C, as BIG, who have recently made changes to their lineup, faced off against Evil Geniuses, forced to play with “daps” over “stanislaw” during this event due to personal decisions.
The North American team rebounded in the first half of Nuke, switching to an offence with a narrow lead, but a complete lockdown on the defence allowed BIG to run away with the map, as they secured a “16-9” victory. Moving to Dust2, it did not become any easier for Evil Geniuses, as BIG scored twelve rounds in the first half and despite a furious attempt at the comeback by EG, were never in danger, winning the map “16-8” to take the series, “2-0”.
Tomorrow BIG will play a new Fnatic lineup in the second round, while Evil Geniuses will try and upset FaZe Clan to keep their chances of making top-2 at EPL Season 14 alive.
