BIG earned their first major title since June 2022 with a first place finish at CCT Online Finals 5. The German team played against Aurora in the finals of the tournament.

Throughout the two maps of the finals, BIG let Aurora go ahead in the score only in the first half of the second map. Otherwise, the Berliners were in control on both Inferno and Ancient.

The best player of the match was 21-year-old Karim "Krimbo" Moussa with 36/22 statistics and a rating of 7.2. He also has one clutch win to his credit in the final bo3 series.

Note that both BIG and Aurora qualified for the CCT Global Finals by winning $100k and $40k respectively. The future championship will be held in the second half of May 2024 and will have a prize pool of $500k. Eternal Fire, Spirit, MIBR and others have also qualified for it.
