Ahead of the start of the CCT Europe Season 2 Series 8 playoffs, organizers have announced the teams that have received a direct invitation to the playoffs and will compete for the $22,000 top prize.
Main Stage
The main stage started on August 5 and will run until August 13, where the teams will play according to the Swiss system, where in case of 3 wins a team qualifies for the playoffs, and with 3 losses the team will leave the tournament. Preasy and Monte Gen finished the tournament with 0-3 statistics, losing all their matches in the tournament.
CYBERSHOKE and Young Ninjas, who showed good play throughout the games, finished with the opposite score. The best player of the tournament after the main stage was Young Ninjas player Kacper “xKacpersky” Gabara, who finished the group stage with a rating of 7.1.

Invitations directly to the playoffs of the tournament went to:

Most of the teams have already participated in the tournaments of this series, but only three teams managed to become champions, namely B8, AMKAL and Zero Tenacity. However, for GamerLegion in the new lineup, this tournament will be the first from the organizer, where there is an opportunity to immediately start the debut with a victory. The playoffs will begin on August 15 and run through August 18, where the winner will receive $22,000 as well as 150 CCT points, which gives the team a chance to qualify for the Global Finals. Details of which are not yet known, but the prize pool for the past CCT Season 1 Global Finals was $500,000.

Conclusion
Half of the playoff teams have received invites to the closed qualifiers for RMR, so they need to get in shape. If they win, they will not only get $22,000, but also confidence at qualifiers. Which could greatly decide the outcome of the first matches.
