The first matches in the decider bracket of the European BLAST.tv Paris Major RMR have concluded, and as a result, B8 and Aurora have been eliminated from the race to qualify for the major, losing to Cloud9 and FaZe, respectively.
B8 was unable to take more than nine rounds on both Ancient and Vertigo. The shaky Cloud9 team proved to be better than the promising Ukrainian underdog squad.
sh1ro demonstrated the best statistics in the match, with 45 kills, 24 deaths, and an average of 89 damage per round.
Aurora managed to make FaZe nervous on the first map, Ancient, but karrigan and his teammates interrupted the winning streak of rounds in the second half, defeating their Russian opponents. Overpass, on the other hand, was dominated by FaZe and ended with a score of 16-7.
ropz achieved a kill-to-death differential of 42-25 and an average damage per round of 90 in the bo3.
Regardless of the outcome of the third match of the first round of the decider bracket between BIG and Falcons, FaZe have already secured a place in the final based on Buchholz points. On April 15th at 15:15, the team will play against either Cloud9 or the winner of the BIG/Falcons match for the last slot in the BLAST.tv Paris Major.
