Legendary Swedish player Adam “friberg” Friberg has announced his transition to coaching in 2025. With a wealth of experience playing at the highest level, including the MVP title at ESL One Cologne 2014 and captaincy roles with OpTic and Dignitas, Friberg is ready to apply his knowledge to developing new teams as a head coach.

Friberg's career: the path of a legend

Ninjas in Pyjamas is a golden page in friberg's career. He was part of the legendary NiP roster that dominated the early stages of CS:GO, setting a record of 87 consecutive wins in LAN tournaments. The key moment of his career was his victory at ESL One Cologne 2014, where he became the tournament MVP thanks to his phenomenal play on the Inferno map, which cemented his status as the “King of Banana”.

After NiP, Friberg continued his career in OpTic, Heroic and Dignitas teams, where he played both the role of a leader and an experienced rifler.
