B1ad3 on NAVI's Loss to The MongolZ - "They Were Better, Had Superior Preparation"

The performance of NAVI at the ESL Pro League Season 21 ended with a defeat against The MongolZ with a score of 0:2 in the quarterfinals. NAVI looked lost and couldn't offer any solutions during the game.

We couldn't find our game and rhythm to establish synergy and outpace the opponent. They consistently dictated the pace. They were better, they had better preparation.
Said NAVI's coach, B1ad3

Besides the coach, jL shared his opinion on social media:

Strong game from The MongolZ, even better from mzinho. Win it all.

iM also expressed his thoughts:

Eliminated from EPL, didn't perform well individually, but it is what it is, need to focus on the next ones.

Following this result, the team faced harsh criticism. Thorin was among the first to react to the failure, questioning the roster's prospects.

NAVI has huge questions to answer after this tournament. They don't look like a team that can win the first major in 2025.

The community once again started discussing which players should leave and whether the roster should change. After each defeat, questions arise about individual esports players, but the B1ad3 system works over the long haul, not in a single match. One potential factor for the failure is the absence of a psychologist at this tournament. In crucial moments, the team lacked confidence and composure, and internal instability only worsened the situation.

ESL Pro League Season 21 takes place from March 1 to 16 in Stockholm, Sweden. 24 teams are competing for a prize pool of $400,000. Follow the schedule, match results, and tournament progress here.
