Astralis earned an important win over SAW in the bottom set of Group B at the BLAST Premier Spring Final 2024 tournament, securing a playoff spot. Nicolai "dev1ce" Reedtz especially distinguished himself as the MVP of the match.
The match was played on two maps. Astralis confidently won Dust2 with a score of 13:6, demonstrating excellent map mastery. Continuing their dominance on Inferno, they finished the match with a score of 13:3, leaving SAW no chance, thus knocking them out of the tournament in last place. SAW took home $10,000 dollars taking 7th-8th place in the tournament
For Astralis, this win was an important one after they lost to NAVI at the top of the grid and fell to the bottom. After beating SAW, they were able to stay in the tournament and entered the playoffs in the quarterfinal stage, where they will be waiting on the loser of Virtus.Pro vs. Spirit.
BLAST Premier Spring Final 2024 takes place in London, UK at the OVO Arena Wembley. The tournament with a prize pool of $425,000 takes place from June 12-16, 2024. The event features 8 top teams, which shows a high level of competition and exciting matches, with teams also battling it out for one slot at BLAST Premier: World Final 2024.
