CS2 has changed the assist system

In their latest update, Valve's team of developers who are developing Counter-Strike 2 have made a small but extremely important update to the game's gameplay.

Although they didn't specify this item in the list of updates, but in the regular game we noticed that in CS2 the accrual of assists (kill assists) in killfeed and "Tab" became different compared to CS:GO.

To get started, we suggest you take a look at this video:

The thing is that in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive player had to deal more than 41 units of damage in order to get the assist. But now everything has become different, in order to get the "kill assist" in "TAB" it is worth to deal only 27 units of damage!

And now we can only guess whether it's a bug or a new feature!

When was the last update in CS2?

On the night of September 2nd the developers released a huge update, in which they introduced an updated Inferno map (full comparison of the map with CS:GO you can find here), as well as updated the rank system in MM! Read more about this update here.
