Today, an AMA session concluded on the forum with a player from the women's team NAVI Javelins, Angelika "Angelka" Kozłowska, where she answered fans' questions. Among other things, fans inquired about her opinion on when the women's professional scene will compete with the men's professional scene and what is most lacking in women's esports.
When the women's scene will be on par with the men's
I think we already have some individual women who can compete at least at the second level, and who knows, maybe even at the first. Considering that about 10% of players are women and 90% are men, obviously, it will be harder for us to find a complete team that can handle any first-level team. Experience also plays a role here, most top-level guys have extensive experience, which is crucial in important matches. If the women's scene develops over the next few years, I think in 2 years there might be a team that can compete with guys at the first or second level.
What women's esports are lacking
I think we've already raised our level significantly over the past 2 years, we need more LAN tournaments to gain experience, because 2 club tournaments a year and 1 national tournament are not enough.
