Role in the new season

Kyrylo "ANGE1" Karasov is a versatile player in Valorant who not only holds one of the most critical roles in the team as the captain but is also a fully flexible player. He highlighted this himself when asked, "Will your role change this season?" ANGE1 adapts to the team's needs and can take on any in-game role. Last season, he primarily played as an initiator, while earlier, he took on the role of a smoker. However, as he noted, a return to the smoker role seems unlikely:

Considering that I’ve played every role over the past two years, it’s hard to define what changes mean, but I don’t think I’ll be playing the smoker role this season.

Analyzing NAVI's updated roster and ANGE1's mechanical skills, it's safe to say that the duelist role is unlikely for him. Most likely, he will remain a player who changes agents based on map and tactical needs. He is expected to take on the role of a second initiator or, if required, step back into the smoker role.
