ALTERNATE aTTaX, the German esports organization known for over two decades of active participation in Counter-Strike, has announced it will be pausing its main CS roster at the end of the current year.
This decision was made due to the challenging economic situation and the state of the CS2 ecosystem, which forced the team to reevaluate its priorities and conduct an internal restructuring.

Long Journey in Counter-Strike
Founded in 2003, ALTERNATE aTTaX has played a significant role on the German esports scene for many years, nurturing young talents and maintaining an active presence in Counter-Strike. Throughout its history, ALTERNATE aTTaX has fostered well-known players like gob b, tiziaN, and syrsoN, who have made careers at the highest level. The pause in the main team's activity will be a significant shift in the organization's strategy.

Recent Successes and Tournament Roles
In recent months, ALTERNATE aTTaX has shown notable results: the team participated in the ESL Cologne Play-ins, took third place in the RES European Series 3 in March, and won the CCT Series 9 in August. On the German esports scene, they have also claimed five titles in the national tournament ESL Meisterschaft. However, despite their successful performances, economic pressure forces the organization to temporarily leave the scene.
Focus on the Academy Team
Currently, ALTERNATE aTTaX plans to focus on its academy project, ALTERNATE aTTaX Evo. The organization aims to develop young players in a stable and professional environment, which will support German esports in the long term.
