CS2 players have noticed a slew of strange and sometimes absurd bugs following the latest update, and one Reddit user decided to not just describe them in words but show them in action—by editing an entire video showcasing all the bugs they found.
Animations Gone Awry
The video posted on Reddit details critical errors. For instance, if you equip an AK-47 and immediately inspect it, the animation simply breaks—the hand starts passing through the barrel. The old SSG 08 model from CS:GO doesn't have a working animation at all, and in the revolver, the bullets are incorrectly displayed in the chamber, or rather, they are missing.
Sound bugs have also been noted: when quickly drawing a weapon, an unnatural sound is heard, and the Molotov lacks any burning sound when held. Moreover, the cocktail ignites before the lighter is even brought to it—clearly a logic issue. Older models, like the MP7, suffer from muzzle flash bugs, and StatTrak on knives now displays incompletely. And the icing on the cake—every time you enter a map, shaders recompile, significantly slowing down the game's launch.
Valve has yet to officially comment on these specific bugs, but if they aren't fixed soon, it could undermine players' trust. Animations are not just a visual element but a part of the game's feel. The community is eagerly awaiting fixes, and the sooner, the better.
