Today, it was announced through the official Twitter account that the captain of the Ninjas in Pyjamas team, Aleksi "Aleksib" Virolainen, has been benched, and former team player Hampus "hampus" Poser is taking his place.

How did hampus play for NiP before?
hampus made his debut with the Ninjas in Pyjamas in June 2020. Some notable tournaments for the player include:
- DreamHack Open Fall 2020 (4th place)
- Flashpoint Season 3 (2nd place)
- BLAST Premier: Fall Groups 2021 (1st place)
- Intel Extreme Masters XVI - Fall: Europe (1st place)
After leaving the main roster of the team in January 2023, hampus did not join any other team and did not appear on the professional scene during these 6 months.
The path of Aleksib in the composition
Finn recently joined the ranks of Ninjas in Pyjamas, specifically in October 2022. During this time, he has participated in 17 tournaments with the team. However, the team was unable to secure a tournament victory or achieve a notable placement.

The next championship in which Ninjas in Pyjamas will compete is the BLAST Premier: Fall Groups 2023. The competition will take place from July 13th to 23rd in Copenhagen, Denmark.
