On the third day of the group stage of PGL Bucharest 2025, two teams completed the Swiss stage at once: 3DMAX guaranteed themselves a place in the playoffs with a perfect 3-0 score, while Team Liquid, having lost all three matches with a score of 0-2, became the first to leave the championship.
Aurora 1:2 3DMAX
The match between Aurora and 3DMAX was one of the most spectacular in the tournament. The teams exchanged victories on the first two maps - Inferno (9:13) for 3DMAX and Anubis (13:5 ) for Aurora. The fate of the match was decided on Dust2, where Aurora had a 12:10 advantage, but Maka won a key 1v2 clutch, tied the score, and in overtime 3DMAX brought the game to victory with a 16:14 victory.
Thanks to this triumph, 3DMAX finish the group stage undefeated at 3-0, having beaten The MongolZ, Astralis, and Aurora in succession. Aurora, with a 2-1 record, still has a chance to move on.

The MongolZ 2: 0 Team Liquid
After painful defeats against Legacy and Virtus.pro, Team Liquid tried to save themselves in the match against The MongolZ, but lost 0-2:
- Mirage: 13-11
- Anubis: 13-7
The best player was Twistzz, who looked powerful - 38 frags, 85 ADR, 6.8 rating. But even his individual form did not help the team, which failed both offensively and defensively.
MVP: Twistzz (Liquid) - 38/26/4, rating 6.8, +12 K/D, 85 ADR
EVP: senzu (The MongolZ ) - 30/25/9, rating 6.5, +5 K/D, 75 ADR
Liquid finishes in 16th place with a disastrous round difference of -32 and 0 cards won. The MongolZ, with a score of 1-2, will still compete in the elimination match.

- 3DMAX (3-0 ) - first place in the playoffs
- Aurora (2-1 ) - a chance to go further in the next rounds
- The MongolZ (1-2) - will play a survival match
