In the second half of the season, Moonton will implement major gameplay changes, including a map rotation system. The head coach of Aurora, Aniel “Master the Basics” Jiandani, shared in an interview with Tiebreaker Times how the team plans to adapt to the new conditions.

Aurora's Adaptation Plan to Changes

According to MTB, the series of victories at the start gives the team an opportunity to focus on the future:

It's good that we've secured many victories — this allows us to switch our focus to the update. Now is not the time to dwell on mistakes; we need to prepare for what's next.

 

The coach also identified two main challenges the team will face:

Firstly, the maps. Players will need to get used to them again — a new element might suddenly appear somewhere. Secondly, the changes in heroes, which will affect drafts. I think there will be many unexpected strategies tied to specific maps.

 

This Friday, September 19, Aurora will face a rematch against Team Falcons PH — the only team that has managed to defeat them this season. This match will be the first serious test of their adaptation to the new conditions.
