Details on Roaming Gear Revamp in Project NEXT MLBB Patch

The developers of Mobile Legends: Bang Bang have released a video preview of the changes to roaming equipment in the upcoming patch. The update will affect the passive abilities Devotion, Thriving, and Blessing. These changes will simplify the acquisition of gold and experience for supports and tanks. Roamers will be able to impact the game earlier and receive rewards without participating in battles.

Devotion: Income Without Penalties

The updated Devotion no longer reduces income when the player is near farming allies. Now, the roamer receives 40% of the gold and experience without hindering the team's economy. Additionally, rewards for revealing enemies have been added. Through this passive, up to 2000 gold can be obtained.

Thriving: Steady Resource Growth

The Thriving passive now grants 6 gold and 12 experience every 5 seconds. After the 8th minute, the bonus increases by 50%. Resource acquisition does not depend on participating in battles and continues even after leaving the status of the least equipped hero in the team.

Blessing: Choosing a Fixed Effect

After accumulating 1000 gold through the previous passives, Blessing becomes available. The player chooses one of four effects:

  • Encourage — increases attack and attack speed;
  • Favor — restores HP when applying shields or buffs;
  • Dire Hit — deals additional damage to vulnerable targets;
  • Conceal — provides camouflage and movement speed boost.

Once selected, the effect is fixed. For example, Favor now restores up to 400 HP — previously up to 600, depending on the gold accumulated.

These changes will make roamers less dependent on the team and more stable in development. Even without participating in battles, they will be able to acquire resources and assist the team in the early stages. The new approach enhances the impact of supports and tanks on the outcome of matches.
