Hanabi MLBB

Hanabi isn't about carrying through kills - she's a utility marksman who excels in team fights with her AOE damage and shield for the team. Her value comes from consistent DPS in grouped fights, not solo plays. Most players try to play her like Granger or Bruno and fail miserably.

She's genuinely one of the weakest marksmen right now and the meta doesn't favor her at all. People defending her are either nostalgic from when she was actually good or they're coping. There's almost no situation where you wouldn't be better off picking Beatrix, Melissa, or Claude instead.

The problem is positioning and game sense. Hanabi requires perfect positioning since she has no escape, but most players including "top nationals" play her too aggressively. She's like a glass cannon that needs babysitting - decent in coordinated teams, useless in solo queue chaos.

Honestly, Hanabi isn’t as useless as people make her out to be. The problem is most players pick her into literally everything and play her like she has mobility when she doesn’t. If your positioning is bad on Hanabi, you die instantly.She actually scales well, clears waves fast, has annoying teamfight damage with her bounce attacks, and her shield/passive can be really strong against CC-heavy comps. But unlike heroes like Claude or Brody, she can’t escape bad decisions.That’s why you see so many 1/12 Hanabis. The hero depends way more on macro, positioning, and team protection than most marksmen. In the right draft she’s fine, but most people force-pick her into assassins and dive comps then wonder why they feed.
