On July 4th, T1 secured a hard-fought but spectacular victory over CTBC Flying Oyster with a score of 3:2 in the upper bracket match of the Mid-Season Invitational 2025. The series turned out to be one of the most emotional in the tournament: T1 started strong, then lost control of the game, but regrouped and made a comeback.
In the first map, despite an aggressive and unexpectedly strong start from the Taiwanese team, T1 managed to play smartly, seizing the initiative and securing the win. However, in the second and third maps, CTBC Flying Oyster completely dominated. The third map was particularly painful, ending in a crushing defeat for the Korean giant. Yet, this loss became the turning point of the series.

T1's toplaner, Doran, deservedly received the title of the series' most valuable player. His stability and composure in crucial moments laid the foundation for the comeback.

Despite the defeat, the best moment is credited to CFO's Doggo who achieved a pentakill on Caitlyn:
