Riot Games has released a new video offering a glimpse into the second season of League of Legends for 2025. The season's theme will be the popular "Spirit Blossom" line, inspired by the region of Ionia. Players can look forward to not only new skins but also the long-awaited new champion.

At the end of the trailer, a mysterious fragment featuring a new character in the "Spirit Blossom" style was shown. It is only known that their name starts with the letter "Y," and the full release will coincide with the start of the second season. A new battle pass will also be released simultaneously—players will be able to obtain a prestigious skin for Lux in the first act.

Besides Lux, Nidalee appeared in the trailer—her appearance was shown, but it is not yet revealed in what form she will be available. Ashe and Irelia will receive legendary skins, which will be available for purchase in the store. An Ascended skin for Morgana was also introduced—another striking addition to the line. It can be obtained exclusively through the "Sanctuary" system.

In addition to the aforementioned heroes, Shen and Xin Zhao can be spotted in the video. It is not yet known whether they will receive their own skins, but their appearance might hint at participation in upcoming events.

The new battle pass and season change will occur on April 30 with the release of update 25.09. Riot Games continues to expand the League of Legends universe and brings back one of the most beloved skin lines in League of Legends.
