Elden Ring Nightreign’s Fulghor Gets Everdark Upgrade on June 26

FromSoftware has officially announced the next Everdark Sovereign to arrive in Nightreign, and it's none other than Darkdrift Knight Fulghor, the infamous Champion of Nightglow. The enhanced Everdark version of the Nightlord arrives in Limveld on June 26 (June 25 at 6 PM PDT / 9 PM EST), and if you thought the original Fulghor was already a controller-snapping ordeal, you may want to schedule a rage break now.

Fulghor: Harder, Faster, Deadlier

Even without Everdark form, Fulghor is infamous for his ruthless Phase Shifts and Spear Strikes. His unrelenting stamina is something out of the ordinary. Even as we speak, mechanics involving new phased transitions are being discussed as speculation surrounding element additions grows thanks to various FromSoft fans. This new speculation brought over by Gaping Jaw comes after his jaw dropping tornado summoning and teleport strike moves last month.

FromSoft’s Cruel Love Letter

The inclusion of Everdark bosses is clearly Nightreign’s late game shake-up. As players begin to master Nightlord mechanics and comfortably blaze through Remembrance missions, FromSoft seems keen to reintroduce that chaotic, exhilarating unpredictability we’ve come to love and fear at the same time.

Fulghor was already one of the hardest bosses in Nightreign, a relentless, fast-moving centaur with devastating combo. For many, he marked a true skill check, separating casual Nightfarers from the obsessed. Now, with the Everdark buff, Fulghor’s challenge is dialed even further past eleven. New mechanics, a third phase, and very likely punishing AoEs and counters will turn an already infamous encounter into one of FromSoft’s most grueling tests yet. And honestly, that makes it even more exciting. After dozens of familiar boss rotations, it’s this kind of cruel innovation that breathes new life into Nightreign. Just be ready to lose, often and spectacularly.
