Although it was announced during a Worlds 2024 press conference that MSI 2025 was heading to North America, more specifically to Canada, it’s now been revealed that Vancouver will be the home for the 2025 Mid-Season Invitational. MSI 2025 will be the conclusion of the second split in competitive League of Legends, resuming in a similar spot to what it’s always been, but this year it’s more of a taster of what is to come at the 2025 League of Legends World Championship in China.

Although Toronto has been one of the main hubs for esports events in Canada, Vancouver has taken the spot for the second biggest League of Legends event of the year. This isn’t the first time we have seen a League of Legends event in Vancouver. The city played host to the 2017 LCS Spring finals between Cloud9 and TSM. It has not yet been revealed which arenas will be hosting MSI 2025, but this article will be updated when we find out more information.
