Rainbow7 will be the sole representative of LLA in the Northern Conference of the Americas League

According to information from Sheep Esports, the team Rainbow7 will be the sole representative of Liga Latinoamérica in the North Conference of the Americas League.

This adds intrigue to their performance and draws attention to the new league, where they will compete alongside the region's top teams. Additionally, it is expected that R7 will merge with another Latin American organization, Six Karma, which might strengthen their position in the North Conference.

Movistar R7's Success Story in Latin America

Founded by Carlos "Biblos" Gibran, the team Movistar R7, formerly known as Rainbow7, has maintained a reputation as one of the strongest teams in Latin America since 2013. Throughout their history, they have repeatedly claimed top spots in the LLA and represented the region on the international stage. Their latest international appearance was in 2024 at the Play-Ins Worlds, underscoring their status as regional leaders.

R7 Roster for 2025

For the upcoming season, the team has already reached verbal agreements with a number of players, according to sources from Sheep Esports. Top laner Eric "Licorice" Ritchie, who finished the season with Team Dignitas, is transitioning to R7. Despite certain successes in the Summer Split, DIG finished in 5th place and failed to achieve consistent results to reach Worlds 2024. Now, Licorice faces a new challenge — competing in the Americas League with a team that is just entering the conference.

It is expected that the jungle position will remain with Sebastián "Oddie" Alonso, who has been crucial to R7's successes both nationally and internationally since 2021. Under the R7 flag, he will continue to build his gaming career and strengthen the team in the North Conference.

Support position will remain with Pedro Luis "Lyonz" Peralta. Since Lyonz joined in 2023, R7 consistently finished the season in first place, except for the Opening 2024, where they fell to Estral and took second place. Lyonz will continue to represent the team and strive for new victories and international achievements in the 2025 season.

New Face in the Americas Conference

Rainbow7's shift to the North Conference adds intrigue to the upcoming Americas League season. Their participation will be a real test in competing with the strongest teams from the LCS. Interest in the Americas League continues to grow, and Sheep Esports will cover all the key events of the new League of Legends season.
