Riot Games is testing updates to the Honor system on the PBE server, aimed at encouraging positive behavior in the community. The new system includes five Honor levels with different privileges and restrictions.
Honor Levels
Level 1
- No access to All Chat, Champ Select Chat, and Post Game Chat
- No rewards for ranked matches
Level 2
- Access to All Chat remains blocked
- Like at the first level, rewards for ranked matches are unavailable
Level 3
- Access to all chats is restored.
- Additional experience for battle passes.
- Rewards for ranked matches are reinstated.
Level 4
All the perks of the third level plus:
- Increased experience for battle passes.
- Honor emblem on the loading screen.
- Increased limit of pings and emotes in-game.
Level 5
All the perks of the fourth level, plus:
- Maximum experience for battle passes.
- Honor emblem in in-game chat.
- Special animation when returning to base.
- Unlock current and past Honor system skins.
What do the changes mean?
These innovations are aimed at improving the gaming experience and enhancing players' motivation to follow community rules. A high Honor level now not only boosts reputation but also provides additional visual effects and rewards.
The updates could become an important step towards creating a more friendly atmosphere in League of Legends.
