Official: Poby Leaves T1

Yoon "Poby" Seong-won has officially left the T1 Esports academy, as announced by the organization on their X page on July 14. The mid laner had been part of the club's system since 2022 and gained experience playing in the main T1 roster, filling in for Faker during the 2023 LCK summer split.

T1 thanked Poby for his years with the academy and expressed support for his future endeavors. In 2023, he played 18 matches at the top level, substituting for Faker during his injury. In the LCK Challengers League, Poby finished the spring of 2024 in ninth place and secured fourth place in the summer.

Potential Move to Fnatic

According to Sheep Esports, the player has reached a verbal agreement with the European club Fnatic. Sources indicate that he might take over the mid laner position previously held by Marek "Humanoid" Brázda. There has been no official confirmation of this information yet.

Poby began his career in the T1 academy and over three years gained valuable experience in both the youth league and the main LCK stage. The upcoming move to Europe could mark a new chapter in the career of the South Korean mid laner.
