On June 29, GAM Esports secured a dramatic victory over FURIA in the lower bracket of the Play-in at the Mid-Season Invitational 2025. The LCP representatives managed to turn the tide of the series and win 3:2, keeping their hopes alive to advance to the next round.
The first map was intense, with teams constantly exchanging skirmishes, but the decisive team fight went to GAM, who took the lead in the series. FURIA quickly bounced back, taking full control of the second map, and on the third, they completely dominated their opponent, leaving no chance. The fourth game was a turning point. Levi on Viego dominated the map, allowing GAM to confidently even the score. On the fifth map, despite an unconventional draft, GAM maintained their momentum, and Levi continued to lead, which became the decisive factor in their 3:2 victory.
Levi was undoubtedly the MVP of the series—his contributions in the fourth and fifth maps were crucial, and throughout the series, he remained a stable leader and the driving force behind GAM Esports' strategic decisions.
The highlight of the entire match was rightfully the epic Baron steal by FURIA's player, Tutsz on Ahri, in the very first map of the encounter. Despite this, FURIA still lost the map.
